What's going on...

I have been very busy lately and as such have neglected the blog updates (sorry). Sumwon is doing very well since her race last Sunday. She has been very strong and aggressive this week, giving Cherie fits galloping her. Obviously while disappointed at last weeks result, I am encouraged enough about her recovery to point her to a starter allowance race on Sunday the 26th at Saratoga. The race is 7 furlongs and since Saratoga has no middle distance races, Steve and I, along with the input of many of you guys, feel a cutback to a long sprint is in order. After this race we will almost certainly stop on her for a brief freshening and will get her ready for New Orleans.

Though Saratoga has been hectic, it has been great meeting so many of you that have been able to come up and visit. When we put this thing together, one of our goals was to have fun and try to hit as many tracks and areas of the country as possible so that all of the partners might have a chance to see our horse in their neck of the woods. We have made a pretty good showing in the Midwest and at Saratoga, however there is still a lot of ground to cover and we only have one little (not really little) horse. I know that many of you have expressed interest in joining our second offering and may have friends and family that want to join also. Steve is about finished with the paperwork for our next offerings and if the response is as strong as we think it may be we may be able to expand past just 2 more horses. If you guys are as willing and as enthusiastic about the new offerings we may really be on to something. I know that it has been very rewarding for me to be able to help so many people to realize an opportunity that they may have never thought possible. I also have made many new friends and met a lot of really great people (though you guys have really spoiled the filly to the point where Riot may have to enter her into obedience school). So spread the word and lets get as many people involved as we can and I promise to try to hit every track and every area we can, hopefully leaving some legendary stories behind.
